Westchester Baseball is 100% Volunteer Based!

Community Baseball is a recreational program designed to give children and families a fun, welcoming, and inclusive baseball experience. The program focuses on building fundamental skills, encouraging teamwork, and fostering a love for the game. Players learn the basics of hitting, throwing, catching, fielding, and base running while developing sportsmanship, confidence, and friendships.

Teams are organized by age group through an evaluation draft process. Volunteer coaches provide instruction, guidance, and encouragement throughout the season. Games emphasize skill development and fair play rather than winning at all costs, ensuring that every player has a chance to participate and grow.

Practices are encouraged at least once a week for all teams, game schedule permitting. Games and practices are scheduled at the availability of the Park District and Coach Availability.
