Dear Parents,
Although we were hopeful that we would have an opening day parade this year, the Westchester Baseball Board has decided to err on the side of caution and postpone the opening day parade this year.
It is our goal to have a full baseball season for everyone, and feel that it would be best to eliminate any large crowd gathering based on the current CDC guidelines for events at this time; especially at the start of the season. We want everyone to be able to participate throughout the season as much as possible. It is our intent and hope that we will still be able to enjoy our annual picnic in late June and possibly participate in the 4th of July parade as the full WBI organization.
The season will still open this Saturday with games at all levels based on the schedules provided by your managers. All teams should receive their uniforms prior to at your first game/practice on Saturday April 24th, pending any delivery delays.
Please remember to review our Covid 19 policy on the website, and remember to wear your masks and social distance during practices and games. We hope that everyone has a safe and enjoyable 2021 baseball season.
Sincerely,
Westchester Baseball Board
